Day 1
On Tuesday the 5th of September, 2017 myself and a few of my mates headed in to Tallaght to help fix up a primary school. We were working with the company Avalon to create an interactive learning experience for some of the autistic and dyslexic students. We are also building a removable 5 aside football pitch. This pitch will have removable goal posts and will be available for all students. Daniel, Sean, Hubie and I were on duty of digging holes in the cement for fences and the goal posts. All together we had to dig 15 holes in the ground. Each one we spent a grueling 45 minutes on digging. Just as we seemed to be finished we came across a big stone in the ground that seemed near impossible to get out. After we finished the holes we had to paint a base on boards that were going to be put up outside the school. Although we got it done in the end we got a little off track when we "accidentally" through paint at each other. Although day one was just a bit of a preparation for the big day when Avalon comes in to finish the job with us we still had a great time and cannot wait for the next time.
